Climate change is real. There is a universal call for everyone — governments, businesses, and society at large — to reduce carbon emissions by 2030.
We at Ibratec chose to be part of the solution. We have adhered to the
UN 2030 Agenda and taken on the Ibratec 2020/2030 Carbon Neutral Commitment.
The decade-long journey of commitment to SDGs 13 and 17 begins with the purchase of carbon credits from the Bandeirantes Landfill Gas to Energy Project —one of Brazil’s largest landfill sites.
Through this initiative, over 2.5 billion packages of cartonboard, a raw material from renewable sources, have been delivered per year
to our clients with their emissions neutralized since 2020.
We hope to inspire other companies along our value chain to embrace the low-carbon economy for the sake of a sustainable future for this and the next generations to come.
